Making Time: A Weekly Creative club-Monday Morning Edition

Making time.png

One of the most common things I hear when coaching people about creativity and art making is that they don’t have enough time.  So after some thought, I would like to welcome you to Making Time!

Basically, MAKING TIME is a weekly ZOOM call where we can sit together and make. I will do a quick 5 minute warm up (depending upon the day this could be a dance, a timed writing, a collage tip or a doodle) and then for 45 minutes we will work on our own creations together in a ZOOM room. We will complete our call with a quick check in to let others know what we are working on for the coming week.

Will do this on Monday Mornings from 10 to 11

Fees: Suggested Donation: $10. Subsidized spots available.

Limited spots available. We ask that participants sign up for Studio Beulah’s Patreon Page to join this class. https://www.patreon.com/studiobeulah You can cancel at any time but it’s an easy way to arrange payment and we have a few extra perks that go along with the Shaker Membership Level. If you have any questions please do reach out to me!

Collage, Colour, and Creativity - WEdnesday Night edition

Join us for a 4 week exploration of Collage, Colour and Creativity with Mixed Media Artist Lisa Pijuan-Nomura. This course will teach you about materials in collage work, how to create one of a kind art pieces that explore colour and challenge you to push yourself creatively. Lisa will share a variety of ways to approach the collage making process including narrative works and collage improvisation.

Each participant will receive a large vintage paper pack to create with, and we will be making our own papers with paint and markers. Participants don’t need much other than scissors, glue, paper to collage onto and a willingness to create and have fun!

The course will be online and will require that the participants have access to a strong internet connection and ZOOM.

Classes will be Wednesday Nights from 7 to 9 Eastern Standard Times for 4 weeks starting on January 5 at 7:00 PM running until January 26 at 9:00 PM

Class fee is $200 after January 1st.

EARLY BIRD Fee is $175 before January 1st.

Space is limited so please register early to reserve your spot.

If you have any questions please email studiobeulahart@gmail.com

Looking Back Looking Forward

For the past 20 years, Artist and Creativity Coach Lisa Pijuan-Nomura has marked the end of each year with a look back to what she has accomplished together with a look forward to what she wants to embark on in the New Year. It’s a bit of a letting go, a celebration, a brainstorming activity, a collage, a thank you note to yourself, and a list of what you want in the new year.

This isn’t your regular New Year’s Resolutions, rather simply setting intentions as you embark upon new things we head into 2022.

The past two years have been super hard on creatives, and at Studio Beulah we believe that being a part of a community is going to be what makes us stronger. So let’s join together and focus towards a new healthy and creative new year.

Join us as we dream, plan and put ideas out into the world for a new year! We promise, it will be fun!

Fee: $40

If you have any questions or would like to register. email Lisa at studiobeulahart@gmail.com

Limited Space Available. Register early to avoid disappointment.
